Perseids Meteor Shower 2020

On Wednesday night, my friend Ryan and I went down to Point Lookout to watch the Perseids Meteor Shower. The shower comes around once a year as the earth passes through a streak of space rocks left in the wake of the 1992 Swift-Tuttle Comet. The next time that comet rolls around will be f0r another 106 years but every July and August we get to see nature's fireworks. Point Lookout has the least light pollution and clearest skies within a three hour drive of La Plata, MD.
